Judy Stabile, Wendy Aikin and Daniella Woolf teach encaustic techniques at Wax Works West. Together they provide instruction and studio space for artists who want to explore the many possibilities of the use of encaustics in their work. The inspiring facilities and diverse backgrounds of the instructors allow individuals to explore, express, and excel. Daniella Woolf, Wendy Aikin and Judy Stabile are artists with varied skills sets, career backgrounds and art disciplines. Five years ago they started a school for the encaustic arts. As a team, they will discuss the nuts and bolts of building a state-of-the-art studio, a thriving business and an outstanding school from the ground up. Drawing on their five years of experience and a life time of hilarious stories, they will share some ideas about why they are so successful.
