ART EXCHANGE
"The Perfect 10!"
In the IEA conference tradition, there will be an art exchange at encaustiCon 2012. We are calling it "The Perfect 10." All registrants can participate in this art show and exchange by bringing a 10"X10" art work with your interpretation of "A Perfect 10." The art will be hung throughout the conference so that everyone can have a chance to enjoy the work at your leisure. We will exchange art at the Sunday brunch in an exciting and lively way. What you bring: 10"X 10" art work depicting your vision of "the perfect 10".
Where do you bring it: We will take it from you at registration and hang it for you in the conference room.
How do I identify my work: Create your own name tag before you come (3" wide; 2" tall) Attach the card at the lower left corner of your work so that it is visible when it is hung. Add the information on the card:
Title
Artist
Artist Location (City/State/Country)
How will I find out about my exchange artist: So that the person receiving the art will know something about you, attach a short bio, a brief statement about the work and your contact information to the BACK of the work
How will the exchange happen: When you enter the room for the Sunday brunch and meeting, you will be able to draw a numbered "bee" from the hive. The number will match a number on one of the art works that has been randomly numbered before breakfast.
